Marni Feuerman, LMFT, is a go-to source for relationship advice. She is an expert contributor for several national print and web-based media outlets. Prior to establishing her private practice in Boca Raton, Florida, Marni worked both for an inpatient psychiatric hospital and an outpatient healthcare center. She established a program that integrated behavioral health into primary (medical) care for the entire outpatient Broward Health system.

Marni continues to lecture and conduct workshops for other professionals, clients, and the general public. She holds ongoing couples' workshops based on Emotionally Focused Therapy and the book, Hold Me Tight by Dr. Sue Johnson.

Marni has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from University of Florida and a Masters Degree in Social Work (M.S.W.) from Barry University. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University. She completed a doctoral practicum with a focus on couples therapy.

As a dually licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Marriage and Family Therapist, she specializes in working with couples in distress.  She is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and supervises licensed eligible interns.

Marni is trained in brief therapy methods, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and attachment-based treatment. She is a certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist as well as a certified Discernment Counselor to treat couples considering divorce.
